California Community College Organization Negotiates Financial Aid System for Member Schools

The Foundation for California Community Colleges signed a five-year blanket purchase agreement with Regent Education to provide the 109 institutions consisting of more than 2.6 million students a way to implement Regent Enterprise. This financial aid management system, delivered as a Web-based service, supports multiple Pell IDs and multiple campuses from a single database, enabling the colleges to have an enterprise view. The foundation develops programs and services that serve the state's community college system.The negotiated contract offers each school with a fixed, all-inclusive price encompassing all software licensing, implementation and training.
"The Foundation is committed to providing California community colleges with services and benefits that are vital to their missions, and to helping them enhance the student experience," said Paul Lanning, the foundation's president and CEO. "Regent is a best-of-breed company with a solution that will help us accomplish both objectives. Once a college implements the Regent product suite, campus financial aid administrators will be able to dedicate more time to serving students."
