Samsung Electronics America has announced its new SyncMaster 225UW 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor, which takes advantage of Microsoft unified communications solutions to streamline communication functions into a single platform. The 225UW comes equipped with a built-in 2.0-megapixel high-resolution webcam, dual-array microphone, and speakers, and fully supports the wideband audio codecs, covering the full natural voice spectrum. With Microsoft Office Communicator 2007, users can communicate via audio- or videoconference without needing to pick up a phone, put on a headset, or lean into a microphone. MSRP: $449.99.
